Since Haiti become a country 200 years ago, human rigths were violated. The government never put things together and never developed a good democratic power to make things better for the people. Because of the different figths with their neighbors Santo Domingo, Haiti get in a banrupt. It has been taking financial help for other countries but they never make their debt better, they get in a bigger debt and the countries helping them leaved because they couldn't make much. The military troops have the power and they oppressed the people. We can said that all the rigths are being corrupted. Hati have this major problems:

The poorest country in the western hemisphere
One of the poorest countries in the world
Ranks 149 out of 182 on the United Nations Human Development Index
Has a healthy life expectancy of 55 years for women and 53 years for men

78% of Haitians live on less than $2 US per day.
Haiti was a forgotten place that didn't have solution. Last year Haiti suffered a tragedy, an earthquake occured and destroyed all the country. At that time people forgot that Haiti was a bad place with any solution and find unity with other countries to help Haiti. Now people remembered Haiti and they are helping the country to get a better life. We must help our Caribbean friends and allways remember that everyone needs a second chance.
